Loving What We Do . . .

We love what we do.
We learn something new everyday.
We work hard, but we are on the Lord's Errand . . . and that makes a difference.

WE PRESENT HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS TO
THE AREA PRESIDENCY FOR APPROVAL:

November Area Welfare Committee Meeting

WE WORK WITH OUR TEAM:

Luisa and Sam - Hans was in Samoa

WE TRAIN SENIOR COUPLES:

We train Humanitarian Couples who come to the Auckland MTC.
These are the Hamsteads from Sydney, Australia, and they are currently serving in Laos.

WE MONITOR HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS
 THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH PACIFIC:

A new drinking fountain (and toilet block) for a Primary School in Samoa.

Medical Supplies for a Diabetic Foot Clinic in Kiribati.

Renovating a Methodist Church in Tonga.

Providing Office Supplies to Students enrolled in "Life-Skills Training" Courses in Papua New Guinea.

Furnishing supplies and training for students to make crutches for the disabled in Fiji.

Furniture For Schools (FFS) in Samoa

Clean Water in Kiribati and Samoa.

Wheelchairs in Vanuatu.

WE ENJOY THE "JUNIOR" MISSIONARIES:

WE TAKE OUR TURN CONDUCTING THE MONDAY DEVOTIONAL
FOR EVERYONE AT THE AREA OFFICE:

Elder Bills and Hans, Our Area Welfare Manager

WE LOVE MAKING PEOPLE HAPPY:
Elder Bills giving Amusement Park Tickets to two local Charities for their underprivileged children.

WE HAVE FUN SINGING WITH FRIENDS:

Our Thanksgiving Family Home Evening with all the Senior Couples

As you can see, we do many different things on our mission.
Some things are not easy . . . but they are "worth it"!

We love our mission.

. . . and we love our "Kiwis"!

  1. Great post! You two are doing wonderful work. It makes us homesick to see all the things you are doing. We are looking forward to February. Merry Christmas to you both.
